- Easy to confirm non-negative results, using the seal provided, secure and send to the lab.
- Test for 6 drugs: Marijuana THC / Cocaine COC / Amphetamines AMP / Methamphetamines METH / Opiate OPI / Benzodiazepines BZO.
InnoScreen Quick Cup Urine Drug Test
The InnoScreen Quick Cup Urine Drug Testing employs an immunoassay technique based on the competitive binding principle. The test detects drugs in the urine specimen by determining whether they compete with their respective drug conjugate for specific antibody binding sites.
During the test, a portion of the urine sample migrates upward via capillary action, and if a drug is present in the urine sample below its cut-off concentration, it will not saturate the binding site of its specific antibody. In this case, the antibody will react with the drug-protein conjugate, leading to the appearance of a visible coloured line in the corresponding drug strip’s test line region. However, if the drug concentration in the urine sample is above the cut-off concentration, it will saturate all the binding sites of the antibody, and no coloured line will appear in the test line region.
A non-negative urine specimen, in which drug competition occurs, will not generate a coloured line in the test line region of the strip, while a drug-negative urine specimen will generate a line in the test line region due to the absence of drug competition. To ensure the test’s accuracy, a coloured line will always appear in the control line region, indicating that the appropriate volume of specimen has been added, and membrane wicking has occurred.

Testing Procedure For The InnoScreen Cup
Bring tests, specimens, and/or controls to room temperature (15-30°C) before use.
- The donor provides a urine specimen in the cup provided and ensures its volume is above the MIN URINE LEVEL mark.
- Check the temperature label after specimen collection. A green dot should appear on the label to indicate the temperature of the collected sample. The proper range for an unadulterated sample is 32-38°C. (90-100°F) and should be read within 4 minutes.
- Remove the lid from the sealed pouch and screw the lid tightly on the cup.
- Place the cup on its side to activate the test, and start the timer.
- Read the adulteration strip within 2 minutes and compare the colour of reagent pads to Colour Chart. If the results indicate adulteration, do not interpret the drug test results. Either retest the urine or collect another sample.
- Read the drug test results at 5 minutes. Do not interpret the result after 10 minutes.
- Non-negative test results must be confirmed by GC/MS, LC/MS. Attach the security seal label with the donor‘s ID and signature over the cap. Send the cup and urine specimen intact to a toxicology laboratory for confirmation.
Test Cut-Off Levels For The InnoScreen Cup

FAQ
- A CONTROL Line should always appear as proof the test has worked, and that the sample is suitable for testing.
- No line on the test area is POSITIVE (or non-negative). We advise that you send this sample to the lab for further testing.
- Any line, no matter how faint, on the test area is a NEGATIVE result. (See faint lines information.)
- It is normal for lines to develop at different rates, and have different intensities.
- A negative result can appear in under a minute.
- To read a positive result you will need to wait the full five minutes before reading the results.
- Tests should not be read after 10 minutes.
- Tetrahydrocannabinol THC (marijuana)
- Methamphetamine (“ice”, ecstasy)
- Amphetamines (“speed”)
- Cocaine
- Benzodiazepines
- Opiates/Morphine (derivatives of the opium poppy including heroin, morphine, codeine)
No. By using Australian Standards approved drug testing devices the likelihood of a false positive is drastically reduced. But there are occasions when a false positive can occur from a donor who is neither abusing drugs nor has taken an illicit drug. This is why it is recommended that all positive tests should be confirmed by a National Association of Testing Authorities, Australia (NATA) Accredited Laboratory for further testing. All on-site tests should be considered presumptive until verified by an Accredited Laboratory.
As part of the testing processes, check the adulteration panel before reading the drug test results. If the sample has been tampered with and the adulteration panel will indicate a positive result. If this occurs you will need to perform the test again.
